The Root Cellar is a farm to fork organic restaurant located in the Old East Village in London, Ontario. We serve all-organic breakfast, lunch & dinner, focusing on seasonality and local procurement of ingredients. The Root Cellar is also home to London Brewing Co-operative--Anglophone Canada’s first worker-owned brewery! Brought to you by the same folks behind On The Move Organics (London's finest local & organic produce distribution company, specializing in bike delivery and farmers' market retail), The Root Cellar grew out of a desire to forge relationships between London's rural food producers and urban food consumers.
With The Root Cellar, we hope to find a happy medium between food politics and pleasure, so come explore what it means to be rooted in a local economy, a local food system, and a vibrant and resilient community.

We believe that food is political, that the choices we make about food--what we choose to eat and who we choose to support by doing so--resonate through our community, our economy, and our planet.
